What’s up

I get back from a 3-day weekend of being disconnected (finished The Wind Up Bird Chronicle in 2.5 days – probably the fastest I ever read to date – the book is great, by the way) and I find that my beat-up used bike has been stolen. Taken from the back of my apartment. No it wasn’t locked.  It was inside of my property.  Someone came inside the gate and took it.  Bloody awesome, aint it?

The deadlock continues in Bangkok, amazing how Thailand manages to make it to the top of Google news in the corse of a few days.  Or rather, how Thailand only makes the news when there is a riot or a coup in town, but I supposed that’s what headline news are made of.

The dog in the corner finally issued a state of emergency, but the mob is now high on their newly gained power and apparently is above the law and won’t budge.  Countries have issued a travel warning to Thailand.  Just amazing.  Right when I’m telling everyone to book a ticket to come to Thailand for my wedding, shit blows up the on the streets.  Bloody awesome.  (Not that I would change anything but having a riot doesn’t help)

ah, what else is there…
