My friend Emily, who was my thesis partner, and who I haven’t seen since we graduated although we tried to several times, is screening her mockumentary, The Humberville Poetry Slam, this weekend in SF at the Asian American International Film Fest. The trailer here reminds me so much of the scenes from my chicago poetry-slam-junkie days.
